Refugee Children often can't go to school. Please help.

Updated: Oct 9, 2023

Loving Compassion Africa and Tresgad have partnered to help some of the most vulnerable Congolese refugee children return to school.

Since the refugees are not 'citizens of Kenya' the children are unable to attend public school. This forces families who are already burdened with inability to find work, to have the added pressure of increased school fees. These children work hard when given the opportunity to attend school, and often achieve top marks even though the do not have any of the required books, learning materials etc.

LCA already helps about 20 children attend school, but we would like to increase that number. We also hope to provide more text books, revision books, and other learning materials and supplies to our students.

LCA with the help of TRESGAD and Sister Lucy has compiled a long list of additional students requiring sponsorship and the chance to attend school. For $30/month you can transform the life of a child.
